Attention! Members and Visitors.
Our situation has changed for the better in 2021. Since the end of 2020 we have had some restrictions lifted, but many are still in place. In particular, social distancing and good hygiene practices remain important.
At this time, not all Tutors have returned, our course list is slightly reduced, as is the size of almost all indoor classes. Members have shown consideration of the needs of fellow members, with restraint in their Course selections, to allow everyone access to the limited places available. Bulletins will be omailed regularly to keep Members up-to-date with any changes. Links to these can be found below.
We will maintain a close watch on advice from relevant State and National Health authorities, Local Government implementations, and venue requirements before any changes are implemented. As always, members’ welfare will be of paramount importance when deciding on any changes. Major changes to accommodate lifting of restrictions will generally occur at the start of a new Term. Stay safe.

Notices relating to 2020 Events:
Welcome to Coffs Harbour U3A. U3A is a world-wide organisation, which began after the Second World War to help older people whose education was cut short by the hostilities. It was to be learning through fun, with courses that required no entrance qualifications, homework or exams. The spirit still continues in the 21st century.
Coffs Harbour U3A was established in 1992. It is a voluntary organisation, which aims to provide a low cost learning experience for mature-aged people. We provide a wide range of courses covering many subjects, including art, current affairs, history, languages, literature, photography, philosophy and others. The course facilitators are all volunteers. Some people use their trade, business or professional expertise; others are happy to share a life-long hobby or interest with like-minded people.
Classes are held in venues throughout the city and at Woolgoolga, 25 kms north. The Coffs Harbour Community Village and the Woolgoolga Public Library are the most popular class meeting places.
We invite you to join us to ensure another successful year as we increase our knowledge, whilst enjoying the idyllic beaches and beautiful hinterland of the Coffs Coast.
2021 Courses are now available online.
The renewal membership fee (applicable to current and most former members) for 2021 is $40 per person. For new members the fee is $75.
